O blog of mine, how I have mistreated you.  I’ve left you hanging out here with no updates for…um, let’s just not say just how long it’s been!  ;) 

In all seriousness dear readers, I apologize for my absence in the blogosphere.  The volume of my work got the best of me for the last several months and it was a struggle to stay above water.  So, I went into crazy proof mode and put my blog on the back burner.  I’ve received so many nice emails wondering when I would return with some new work.  Well, here I am - finally (!) with some eye candy. 

I want to extend a HUGE thank you again to all of my very patient clients.  I know your wait times have been a little longer than usual, but your understanding is GREATLY appreciated.

As you can see, there’s been some updating going on around here!  Although I loved my previous logo, I was itching to revamp.  I wanted something a bit more whimsical, something that celebrated childhood, but still went with the leaf/growing branding I’ve had.  It just so happened that one my favorite graphic designers had this logo ready to go.  I saw it and immediately fell in love.  I am so excited to give myself a brand new look.  I think that it suits my work perfectly!  Drop me a line and let me know what you think about it!

Alright…here we go.  This first group of pictures shows some of the handsome dudes that I had the pleasure of photographing this Fall.  I’m so excited to post these, as my new blog supports bigger pictures, which makes me happy…pictures like these need to be seen big!  Oh, and these next few posts might be short on words, but they won’t disappoint on cuteness factor! 

Hi everyone!  Sorry that my blog updating has been so slack.  I have been keeping busy with sessions and editing, and finalizing some exciting changes that will be unveiled very soon!  

I will be posting peeks of all the sessions that I didn’t blog at the end of ’08 due to all of the turmoil, plus some ‘09 sessions.  Stay tuned!

Happy 2009 everyone!  I apologize for the lack in blog posting since, oh, OCTOBER!  The last 3 months of the year are always crazy for me.  And this year was a *doozy* I tell you!  ;)  I made it through the holidays and am in the process of changing over to a new computer, so all the old computer problems are hopefully behind me!  I must send out a BIG thank you to all of the folks who stuck with me while I worked through the mess. 

With the start of the New Year, I reflect on how wonderful 2008 was for Stefanie Weber Photography.  I am so thankful that with each passing year my business continues to thrive.  I am one of the lucky few who get to do what I truly love.  I’m humbled to be asked to document your family’s memories…memories that will last a lifetime!  I look forward to what 2009 will bring…

I figured I’d start the year off right with some housecleaning.  I will be updating my website and, I’m pleased to unveil my new blog.  This new format makes it possible to post bigger images, not to mention the snazzy Flash header up top.  Stay tuned, as I am currently working through the many sessions that I haven’t blogged yet.   I can’t wait to post with the new format!

Technology is the bane of my existence!

I discovered this weekend that a client placed an order via my online cart and I did not receive the confirmation in my inbox. If you have placed an order since Friday afternoon, please call me. I got online and did a mock order from a client gallery and I did get a confirmation. But just to be sure, if you have or are going to place an order, please follow up with a call to me. I don’t want to miss anyone’s order.

On the drive front, I received it before the holiday and everything is intact. I am working ’round the clock (literally) to get all the galleries posted and orders placed. Thanks to everyone for their unending patience!

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry to have left my blog without update for so long. I’ve had to step away from blogging due to this very busy holiday season. However, I did want to let my clients know what has been happening in the land of Stefanie Weber Photography.

A few weeks back, I had an issue with my email. I believe my web host was hacked. This resulted in an Inbox innundated with over 800+ emails over a matter of 3 days. I simply bulk deleted all the messages, as they would come in hundreds at a time. If you tried to email me during that time and never received a reply, my sincere apologies.

The week after that, my worst nightmare occurred - a hard drive failure. And we’re talking catastrophic folks. A 1TB external that I was using somehow became corrupt. I have 3 different forms of backup, so ALL was not lost. However, my DVD burner which I back up on was kaput, and my poor PC’s hard drive was full. That resulted in several new sessions being placed on the drive. There was no way that I was going to lose all of that work. So, I sent it away to a data recovery service, and luckily they were able to ‘rebuild’ all of data on the drive. The cost was ghastly, but it was totally necessary. The drive is en route to me and if you are waiting on a session or order, I appreciate your patience and will have your precious memories to you VERY soon!

Then today…my phone died. I mean D-E-A-D. It won’t even turn on. I am in the middle of getting the issue resolved. In the meantime, please call 293-7833 and leave a message. I apologize for any inconvenience ALL of this has caused. This has been a bad month, technology-wise for me.

On the schedule front, my calendar is officially closed for the year. Well, let me rephrase, all sessions booked from here on out will not be available until after the holidays. The sheer volume of work coupled with all of the technical snafus have really put me behind. I must focus on getting the work that I currently have on my plate done. This has been my best year yet and I thank everyone who has entrusted me to capture their family’s special moments.

Once again, I thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this very hectic time. I will have all outstanding galleries posted very soon.

I am having some computer/email troubles today due to a suspected virus. If you need to contact me, please call as I am receiving hundreds of emails and I am simply bulk deleting as I see them coming in. I apologize for the inconvenience…wish me luck in ridding my computer of this mess!
